Events

The mission of the FHCA Events Committee is to build relationships, encourage local community engagement, and promote inclusion among our diverse set of neighbors, both within and outside the Forest Hill Historic District.
 

We accomplish this by:

• Organizing gatherings for FHCA members and Forest Hill residents to build relationships and a sense of community among neighbors

• Producing events, such as house tours and Newark PorchFest, that invite in the surrounding community to create broader connection, increase visibility, and raise interest in the historic district

• Coordinating informal meet-ups that encourage residents to explore local surroundings (North Ward, greater Newark, and beyond) and drive local economic impact
